The demo gameplay was so bad I refuse to believe I must play this game that takes three complete playthroughs to reach the true ending

You don't have to do three playthroughs, it's one journey. Yes with some repeating parts, but if you like it's more like 1,5 playthroughs. But i tink as well it's a masterpiece
