I hate how right you are about this. They wouldn't give a shit if the Epstein files revealed that he was eating human babies drenched in cold ketchup, but he threw around the idea of taking gun rights away from a suspected wife beater until adjudication? For the safety of the wife? Preposterous. Vote Jeb instead!
Dems need to stop trying to court the right, but if they refuse to stop that, this is what they need to try. "Republicans want to take your guns, conduct more world policing to send your sons overseas to die in the quest to steal more oil without even lowering your price at the pump, and take away your healthcare and use those tax funds on immigrants. This isn't the America First you were promised."
And yeah I know that they're fine with how their tax funds are being used on immigrants, but if you're vague and don't explain exactly how those funds are being used on immigrants, they'll assume that it's being used to help them instead of kidnap them.
Exactly, go after the things they're afraid of instead of the things they celebrate. There's a reason why Waltz calling them weird was so effective.
