Very realistic. If the glasses get hit, the shards go into your eyes.

my lenses are like a plastic kinda material, but they also aren't very strong. maybe glass lenses are, and that's why they're used? perhaps i'll find out when i go back to the eye doctor (i need stronger lenses :[ )

No, plastic lenses are less fragile than glass.

Plastic is capable of stronger prescription strength in a thinner lens than glass.

Glass doesn't scratch as easily, and it has a different refractive index so a stronger prescription might be thinner in glass...
They area lot heavier though.
