This has the same energy as accusing a vegetarian of being a nazi because Hitler was one. Intent matters. This universalism bullshit is just pacifist rhetoric that enables the people actively attacking people. Decorum and idealism doesn’t stop fascists, it enables them.

This is the moral equivalent of not killing the bad guy because it would make you the same thing. It’s self righteous moral masturbation.
