They have one thing in common: the understand they can get most of what they want by voting as a block, instead of demanding their candidates tick all the boxes.

Leftist infighting is the best tool the right has. And they know it. Whenever you see a leftist saying they won't vote for a Democrat because "both sides are the same", there's a good chance you're seeing a Russian bot or a right wing plant. Or a fucking idiot. I guess that's a possible third option.

its easier to vote based fear and hate, because right wing pundits and propaganda assures you are right to be bigoted.

Must be a coincidence that they are both funded by the same oligarchs and Israel

No coincidence. Just because both sides are bought and paid for does not mean they're the same. They differ on a non-zero number of pretty tangible things.

And if you have any realistic means to getting a third party in there, why are you not telling the rest of us??

And how does that get a third party into power? When the left doesn't vote, that just hands power to Republicans.

[–] Tollana1234567@lemmy.today 1 points 1 hour ago

not only that but some people on the "left", undecided become republicans in a single instance on occasion.

Well I know I’ve been voting blue no matter who and I’m pretty old and so did my parents. My mom died a horrible death because we couldn’t access healthcare for her and things are getting worse and worse so at some point we burn the system down or end god knows where because we’re literally in Naziland and historically the chances of voting a Nazi regime out without widespread violence are very slim
