Pumpkins are popular for selling to farmers.
Ironically after planting that huge field I mainly use iron from my iron farm. Though it's always good to have an additional source in case I need a load of emeralds. So yeah definitely good to have multiple emerald sources. Yay for capitalism! lol
How does one make an iron farm?
All you need are 3 villagers and 3 beds. It's really easy these days, on Java at least. I recommend watching tutorials on YouTube. Basically, the villagers have to get scared by a zombie to generate an iron golem. Then there needs to be somewhere for the iron golems to spawn and die like a regular mob farm. Then you can collect the drops with hoppers and chests. You can even auto craft the iron into iron blocks now thanks to auto crafter and sort the system thanks to the copper golem. Though ironically you can't use the copper golem to make a copper farm. However, most people make their iron farms somewhere that iron golems can't spawn because they can spawn outside the farm in a 7 block radius around the farm. You can spawn proof with regular mechanics like slabs, buttons, or path blocks, etc. Or just build it in the air so that they only spawn inside the farm but that means you have to build it up high a bit.
Nice thanks!
My friends and I used a tripwire hook duper to destroy the emerald economy :)
I have seen those on YouTube, not sure how I feel about duping. I have used TNT dupers before for a cobblestone generator though that feels kinda different to me. Nothing wrong if you choose to use it of course. It's a sandbox game after all. I might mess around with it one day.
Automating farming and exploiting the in-game mechanics is one of my favorite things in MC.
