the defeatist attitude drives me crazy
and it's getting upvotes
People still using Reddit at the moment either don't know about the Threadiverse or are cynical bad faith people who will say everything to avoid switching to another platform
Kind of reminds me of this substack post I stumbled upon in my free time.
At what point do we blame OURSELVES for not taking action.

It's worse when it's coming from a community that is supposed to be going out of their way to make change.
Yeah it's getting me bummed out from posting about the fediverse there.
Keep in mind for every intransigent cynic on the thread, many more have quietly signed up without needing to have the entire concept of federation explained to them thirty times.
