No unless europe can develop local social media that aren't a barron wasteland so they can actually convince people to make the switch.

People still using Reddit at the moment either don't know about the Threadiverse or are cynical bad faith people who will say everything to avoid switching to another platform

Keep in mind for every intransigent cynic on the thread, many more have quietly signed up without needing to have the entire concept of federation explained to them thirty times.
