How much more "safer" is data on a phone with LineageOS vs manufacturer rom? If you have 20+ character password on a Lineage OS phone and cops take it, they can't get in, right? (sh.itjust.works)

Maybe. But be careful about putting in that PIN or connecting it to your network when you get home, in case you get it back after...
