Internal Google documents, revealed in a recent child safety lawsuit, show the company viewed Chromebooks and its education tools as a way to onboard kids early creating "brand trust and loyalty over their lifetime."

A 2020 presentation described schools as a pipeline for future users.

Google says the documents mischaracterize its work, which prioritizes helping students and teachers with strong privacy safeguards in school accounts.

the obvious has been proven, now the question will there be any meaningful punishment? probably no also microsoft has been doing the same shit in brazil except laptops are too expensive so they just provide the software for the computer labs (office suite, windows etc) and teams, honestly teams is indeed as bad as they say it is, horrible piece of shit comically confusing bloated and heavy
