I lived alone for most of my life and I agree. Had a friend from another country visit and sleep at my place for a week and even though I like him I am glad he’s gone now. It’s my safe space.

Weird thing about this is that sometimes there's this weird phenomenon called separation anxiety

Especially in Parent-Child relations... its so weird to get attached to emotionally abusive parents.

I understand. I won’t pretend like there aren’t days when I don’t feel a deep, almost sorrowful need for companionship. Especially familial connection. However, the peace is worth it in so many ways that outweigh that. Mental health has grown over time. I promise it is not easy, but it is worth it.

I much prefer living with my partner. Best decision to move in together

I was enrolled into this experiment against my will recently. We'll see how it goes. For the record, I've hand my laundry hung drying for four weeks now.
