Graduated in December, took the NCLEX earlier this week: results just posted AND I PASSED!! WOOOOOOO!!!
I've been a surgical tech for over a decade, and am pumped to finally cross over to the darkside.
Now I just need to find a job, but have several promising irons in that fire, so hopefully soon.

what specialty are you thinking? Gonna ride your experience back into OR or switch things up? I hear PACU is a super chill gig and they usually prefer an ICU background but you could probably squeeze yourself in!
I was the same way with psychiatry. I came into my license with 4 years as a psych tech 2 of them in men's forensics. People at my new grad job were shocked by how comfortable I was on an acute psych unit. Knowing what's supposed to happen at the bottom makes you a lot better at directing them from the top.
