The swastika is thousands of years old, with the current earliest known examples being from the region of Ukraine dating to the paleolithic era. It's not a 'symbol of peace and fortune', it's a basic geometric design used by nearly all cultures across history to represent all sorts of things.

People need to stop thinking it's just some Buddhist thing or what not.
