In a circumstance that desperate, you're probably right, but people would also throw all kinds of others as well, so it isn't really unique to disabled people, it is a consequence of being forced to make extreme value decisions. Disabled people would also throw others to the Nazis if it meant protecting themselves in the same extreme circumstances.

Outside such circumstances, you're wrong. The left, when not stressed to panic, has significantly greater empathy and compassion than the right does and I would argue more so even in them. So while compassion for the disabled isn't an absolute, it only seems to exist in the left so it is a leftwing trait.
