I'm pretty sure he was like that the whole time, it just wasn't generally known. It was bound to come out sooner or later.
Yup, the way he acted towards the founders of Tesla when he bought their company shows that dude's had issues for a looong time.
He got booted from PayPal before that for being a dickhead as well.
Read an article from his first wife... He was like this before he even got married the first time.
