I'm not in the USA but layoffs happen all the time when the economy contracts, the thing is they always need an excuse, and I don't know is AI is really eating up jobs (I sort of doubt it, at least for now) but man is it the best excuse ever.
How I see the USA:
Henderson, how's the Q2 forecast?
Not good, we need $1M!
Just fire 10 people!!
Yeah, USA economy is stagnating or shrinking and it's just the AI bubble holding everything up.
