Neither of my parents wanted or had any memorial service when they died. They were both cremated. I have a picture I took of them together about 20 years ago, it sits on a sort-of memorial shelf in my entry hall.
IDGAF what happens to my body after I die. As the youngest of four kids, I'll probably outlive all of my siblings. The only person that might give a damn when the time comes is my son. I have no idea where he will be or what he might be doing. ATM, he still lives with me, but I hope to be around for at least another 20 years. He might be on the other side of the world by then.
