Yup... which was fine to do because both the US and Denmark are NATO allies. Wait... what is it the US gains from invading Greenland again? Seems like the US can do everything it wants to do by just maintaining the status quo.

What? I've landed aircraft in Iceland while under fire at some point in the last 8 years have you? I doubt it

We're talking about Greenland, not Iceland. I've been out of service for more than 8 years, so no, I haven't landed under fire in that time frame.
