I get to airports 1-2 hours ahead of time. Sometimes, three hours. My wife likes to get there exactly on time.

Well, everything backfired. We couldn't figure out how parking works TSA line has a malfunction so lines were going even slower. Then she had to get her bag rescanned by TSA.

We missed our flight by 2 minutes, and sat there in the airport for six hours for the next flight.

Now all of a sudden, she thinks it's a good idea we get to the airport 1-2 hours ahead of time.

I am not willing to go that far. Missing a plane would cause me a cardiac arrest or a stroke or both.

We made this arrangement: She can decide everything when we get to a place. I decide how we reach that place.

This way she can do her beloved planning for holidays and trips while I don’t stress myself into an early grave.
