No I wouldn't consider these as viable everyday wear, but given how badly nearsighted I am, they still give me much better focus than my natural vision.

Anti facial or eye recognition
I'm pretty sure that won't foil any sort of serious facial recognition.
Normal sunglasses would work just as well.
Blocking facial recognition, duh.
