What I'm saying is that a Hebrew version should also exist, which would have its own cultural connotations around whatever word they use. Studying it in tandem with the Greek translation would help reveal the original meaning.
This everlasting and loving god sure does love keeping his literal words awfully hard to pin down.
Maybe it's a cognate, they used the Greek word because they didn't have a word for it.
