MODERATORS

[A]lso after Charlie Kirk’s death, the Heritage Foundation twisted data to claim that “50% of all major (non-gang-related) school shootings since 2015 have involved or likely involved transgender ideology.” That was in an effort to get the FBI to create a new domestic terror threat category for “Transgender Ideology-Inspired Extremism.”

How much longer until they decide to just round up the transgender people with ~~the Gestapo~~ ICE? It's getting scary for transgender people.

This is how atrocities start. This is the prelude to rounding up LGBTQ people. And then who?

[–] Sunflier@lemmy.world 5 points 8 months ago

They work on a last-hired-first-fired system. Once they get through one group they move onto the next. Womens rights? Racial segregation? The Jews? Slavery again? On and on they go until they turn in each other. I'm not the first to say it, but this is a suicide cult.

LGBTQ Americans won’t just go. Their allys won’t just stand around.

Immigrants are easy. The illegal ones are illegal and typically work for right wingers in right wing states.

Pride wasn’t a party at first. So actually going for it? That’s an existential threat to a large number of people’s futures.

They would be fucking stupid to try.

Sorry but can you explain exactly what the difference is between between disappearing a person who is declared illegal because of their immigration status and a person who is declared illegal because of their gender/orientation/religion ect?

and typically work for right wingers in right wing states.

I'd also would like to hear more about this alleged fact.
