this is a stephen colbert joke from his colbert report era. he was portraying a right wing media troll, so in this case, liberal means liberal the way rush limbaugh, sean hannity, tucker carlson, ben shapiro, or nick fuentes means liberal. it's anyone who thinks living in an oligarchy is a bad thing
