Maybe we should stop showing up to work until him and his whole family are violently murdered. Then we can joke about it, but still refuse to return to work until our pay is at least tripled. With all that extra time we could easily police any available scabs that don't join the solidarity movement. If they absolutely need the money, then be kind. Pool resources like food and housing to take care of each other until our demands are met. Worst case scenario, you have an idle army built on good will and a common goal.
The 60000 that make up the 1% don't have that. I mean even if your motives are entirely self serving, there's a heritage foundation member within 200 miles of almost every American, and they have mansions filled with valuables. Take what you need, when you need it. Do you really think their private security forces are prepared to handle 1000+ coordinated militia members armed with assault rifles and fire?
Do you really think their private security forces are willing to die for some rich fucktard?
A general strike would crush this president, the GOP, the fascist takeover, and empower the quiet, cowardly opposition from both sides to finally fight back. It's not even a complex solution, its straightforward and simple. What would convince people to do it is a fucking mystery, but the solution is right there for the taking.
Robust strike funds would. A lot of us are being run into the ground but could only last a month or two at most without work.
Be careful. Unions, like Trump, will burn everything down to get a bigger piece of the pie for themselves and their dues payers. Notice there are very few laws that protect the worker? Unions are big business.
If everyone is striking, where are people going to get food? Even if you have savings. Store shelves will be empty.
This is why the right never strays from identity politics. They need the working class divided into smaller pieces or else they'd be cooked.
