There was some Republicans woman who came to the university campus I was at to "debate" abortion. She had a lot of straight up lies about the biology aspect.

But she also had previously had an abortion herself.

And she had like 7 kids.

She also didn't think women should be allowed to vote.

But here she was. Using her feminist freedoms to travel around, instead of being home with her kids and husband, to speak lies and harm girls. To take away their right to choose even tho she herself had an abortion.

Rights for me but not for thee.

I've been hearing a disturbingly large amount of disdain for the 19th Amendment, I'm legit worried the Right is going to try to repeal it.

It's insane it's even being discussed.

I heard someone say that it should be a "Per household" vote and then the family can "discuss it together" but the husband has "final say"

So not just taking it from the wife, but from adults who still live with their parents.

Yeah it's not a discussion if one person has the final say.

And you are right. Yes a way to take voting away from other adults . Specifically I think those with disabilities living with parents would be at highest risk to lose their vote.

They're looking for ways to just blatantly say "We think women should be obedient to their husbands, and if they have no husbands they should be forced to find them.", without being called out for it.

Btw, this is what Kirk believed and he wanted colleges to start having what he called "MRS" Degrees

What's an MRS Degree, it's where a woman is allowed to attend college classes with the precise stated goal of finding a husband instead of furthering her education.
