A New York subway rider has accused a woman of breaking his Meta smart glasses. She was later hailed as a hero.

It should be noted that the legality depends on local laws. There are definitely countries where this is illegal.

This happened in New York and i doubt even places where its illegal to film you can just assault someone and destroy their property.

legal illegal argument is weak. If you present a strong argument that is ignored and feel strongly justice was denied and decide to luigi your oppressors, laws have changed for less.
