I’ve always wanted a pair of glasses with a cool hud, that tells me the time and weather and shows me what song im playing or a text i got. Is that so evil?

As long as it doesn't have a camera, no. But all of them do, so yes.

It's really annoying that they all have a camera. One, they don't need it. Two, it's murder on the battery life. Every time I've looked to see if they finally made smart glasses without a camera they haven't and the battery life for all of them is about four hours. Why the hell would I want something that I'm going to be using from when I wake up until I go to sleep only have the cool part I paid extra for work for four hours? I got a smart watch that runs for two days on a charge. If the watch can do it, glasses can do it.

Legit the only use case I'd have for glasses with a HUD is if it could give me closed captions in real time. I'd be sold.

Full agreement. Honestly it's not even that I really hate the glasses (though I do), but my bigger issue is making content of strangers with neither consent nor good reason. You should fear your camera will get broken for that.

I think that horse left the barn long ago. You can’t go 10 feet without being on camera. I’ve thought of having a body camera just cause of all the crazy shit you run into on the commute home

Yeah and I think it's time to start trying to get the horse back in the barn

Evil! How dare you! A simple, convenient, contained device that doesn’t eat your cat? Never!
