boycotting entirely means not giving any further legitimacy to israel and no more exposure to the eurovision's main sponsor since 2019, moroccanoil. (despite its intentionally misleading name, moroccanoil is an israeli company)

since the irish government is dragging its heels with the OTB & trying to avoid boycotting both goods & services from illegally occupied territories, this is a surprisingly good move from rté, imo.
