- No memes, trolling, misinformation, or low-effort posts/comments (including reposts). If you see posts like this that anger you, do not engage. Report, block, and live a happier life than they do. Any slap-fight is subject to comment removals. Fights full of rule violations will result in temporary bans to cool off.
- No manipulating votes via bots or alt accounts; this will result in permanent bans. Vote based on comment quality, not agreement. This community aims to foster discussion; please reward people for putting effort into articulating their viewpoint, even if you disagree with it.
- No hate speech, slurs, celebrating death, advocating violence, or abusive language. This will result in an account ban. Usernames containing racist, or inappropriate slurs will be permanently banned.
We ask that the users report any comment or post that violate the rules and use critical thinking when reading, posting, and commenting. Users that repeatedly have comments or posts removed, weaponize reports, or violate the code of conduct, will be banned.
All posts and comments will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. This means that some content that violates the rules may be allowed, while other content that does not violate the rules may be removed. Most people on this planet don't lose a second of sleep or shed one tear if the poor die, including the poor.
On the assumption that we are able to vote at the time, if it's between him and
<insertAuthoritarianDouchebagHere>, I'll vote for him.However, I'd imagine that most of my fellow U. S. Citizens are well aware that this sheister is not some sort of "friend" of the poor and the middle class.
I'd vote for him over Trump, but he has not won me over by any stretch, just like Harris, Biden, and (Hillary) Clinton.
A fun PR person sending tweets is insufficient to win my vote. I wouldn't be voting for him, I'd be voting against Trump, as has been the case each time Trump has been on the ballot.

I think Gavin is counting on voting laws not changing and him going against a different Republican challenger instead of Trump.
I’m personally hoping a different candidate wins the Democratic primary instead of Gavin, and I would support a more progressive option in the primary instead in 2028.
You’re 100% right that actually selling a platform matters more than chasing Republicans. Dems not even trying to sell anything more than a lukewarm, water down platform is what hammered them in 2024.
People need hope and we need Presidential candidates willing to bake risk into their messaging, such as passing Universal Healthcare and a Universal Basic Income program. Voters will move if a leader is compelling with their messaging and shows that the positive change they could bring would matter to them personally.
First of all, Harris' tax plan was to tax unrealized gains over $1M would effectively make all Billionaire's income go limp dick, and possibly reverse the deficit at the same time, so this is actually a worse choice.
Second, how did that fucking go? Huh? 2024 was an easy decision. 2016 was an easy decision. People keep fucking it up. No matter who wins the primary, we need to be out there promoting NotARepublican™.
