I didn’t want a cat because I’m allergic. My wife rescued a cat before we were married because she needed companionship in college for the last year. I just deal with my allergies now, and the cat loves cuddling. What can you do?

You reduce the protein in their saliva

There's a pre-made Purina food but there's also food additives like safeline and pacagen.

I've not tried any of them myself and don't know anyone who uses them, but the science itself seems solid. Worth looking into.
