Alright, I got myself a blog in Portuguese on tumblr. And recently I'm getting more and more involved into privacy on the web.

I wanted to switch to Pixelfed or for Friendica since it doesn't have a small text limit as mastodon and others, but the Portuguese instances are either for +18 users or dead.

I'm currently on iris.to, but is there another website I could use? I can't selfhost stuff, I share a bedroom with my brother and we don't have space for a computer.

You can self-host on cheap cloud hosts like https://www.hetzner.com/de/cloud/ in .de and .fi for less than electricity costs of a small computer that's on 24/7. You can of course also buy a refurbished Lenovo tiny PC which is very quiet and is about the size of a paperback.
