The owner would get cancelled online by everyone, so it doesn't worth the risk.

No, I could believe it cat's a heartless creatures who only demand your heat, warmth and food. That sounds just up the alley for something a heartless crypto minor would find a kindred Spirit in.
Totally checks out that a crypto Miner being lonely would be a crazy cat person.
