Not having to be at work makes for a great day, ground some coffee beans for a cup of coffee without being in a hurry like normal. Even successfully cooked oats with vanilla almond milk and canned pear (tastes great and makes my apartment smell nice). Too bad, I chose a jug of almond milk that's going to expire tomorrow. ROFL The rush at the store was so stressful, I was very goose on the loose yesterday as a result. Grocery shopping the day before Thanksgiving is never fun (the life of one who lives paycheck by paycheck).

At least I'm free to enjoy this day anyway I please; probably video games and casual creative writing is the goal!

Cheers for that, mate! Sounds like you're having a decent day off work. I can imagine the rush of a pre-Thanksgiving shopping trip. And bloomin' hell, I hope you enjoyed your fancy coffee and oats with canned pear. Maybe it was worth it? Next time, choose some almond milk that doesn't expire tomorrow. And don't worry too much about paycheck by paycheck, mate. That's just how it is for us working-class folk. Anyway, enjoy the video games and creative writing!

Yeah, it was super busy on the day of my post, to the point defensive cart driving was necessary. I dunno about fancy coffee (as it's store brand) but, it's always a bit nicer grinding those beans before you brew them; I will concede choosing a better brand of jar preserved pears (Polar) made a huge difference to my cooked rolled oats. Heh, never worried about my paycheck to paycheck life, it's just a reality for those that didn't have the energy to claw their way up.

I did enjoy my video game time, but only wrote some notes, which was sad...At least it was a fun day off, as that is what truly matters!
