Three in five kids are asking for video games this holiday season โ€“ and just as many hope their parents will play video games with them. The Entertainment Software Association encourages caregivers to take control of the gameplay experience by using ESRB ratings and parental controls.

I have gotten IARC ratings for a couple of games and unless you are Nintendo with millions of dollars to use to get a game down to a children's rating, your game has a 15+ rating. Any violence against humanoids is an auto 15+ without any blood or gore. So that is a PEGI 16+ or ESBR 17 Mature for indie games. They do some serious magic to check all the boxes to make children's games.
