Oh people hate me because I go the posted speed limit or slightly below, cause you know that’s the legal limit there. But no, that’s not good enough they gotta go like 10-20 over. Especially in a school zone, people love to speed there which is wild to me.

I'm normally not a big fan of applying police to every little issue, but public road safety is pretty clearly a good use of police. One 'public safety officer' (not even a full cop, just someone who can hand out tickets) sitting next to each school with a speed detector could really help remind people driving is a privilege, not a right, and can absolutely be taken away if you are going to endanger children for the sake of your own impatience and over-inflated entitlement.

Other good things they could be doing are enforcing no parking zones and noise limits on cars. Don’t know how many times I’ve heard cars that are way too loud because they either took their muffler off, it got rotted through, or are playing music so god damn loud. Ticketing people for parking in no park zones would also make streets safer.

Noisy cars are more dangerous. I remember in my driving classes back when I was a teenager, one of the things the instructor specifically pointed out was if your car is noisy enough to shake/rattle at all, it's too noisy to be safe because it's affecting its driving characteristics (and likely wearing parts out from the rattling and shaking which is both expensive and adds to the safety concern)

That's alright, so long as you understand that driving the speed limit does not give you the right to bogart the left lane if a speeder wants to pass. Right lane for cruising, left lane for passing; no exceptions.

left lane for passing; no exceptions.

Except when the left lane is a turn lane. Or there's road conditions that make the left lane safer. Or there's a stopped/disabled vehicle on the right shoulder of a highway. Or the right lane is ending/a right turn only lane or even just has slower traffic. Huh there's a lot of valid exceptions here...

That's great and everything.

This comic is about people hogging the middle lane

The comic is about someone refusing to use the passing lane to pass.
