Das Jahr neigt sich langsam dem Ende zu. Zeit für einen kleinen Rückblick und unseren Aufruf für den Jahresabschluss-Fundraiser.

💰 Wie steht es um die Finanzen? Mit Ende Oktober fehlen noch ca. 1500€ um am Jahresende in den schwarzen Zahlen zu bleiben. Das sollte sich knapp ausgehen. Wer beim Fundraiser mitmacht, hilft uns, dass es nicht so knapp wird, und wir einen kleinen Polster aufbauen können.
🙏 Fundraiser Ab sofort könnt ihr bei Spenden (https://fediverse.foundation/spenden/) in den Verwendungszweck schreiben, wieso ihr es wichtig findet, die Fediverse Foundation und das Fediverse zu unterstützen. Wir werden die gesammelten Nachrichten gegen Jahresende anonymisiert auf unserem Blog veröffentlichen.

💰 How are the finances looking? As of the end of October, we still need about €1500 to stay in the black by the end of the year. That should just about work out. Anyone who participates in the fundraiser helps us ensure it's not so tight and that we can build a small buffer.

PS: Obligates Server-Foto. Nachdem zuletzt leichte Zweifel an unseren Fähigkeiten in Bezug auf Kabelmanagement aufkamen, hier diesmal NICHT unser Rack und etwas cable-porn (ihr glaubt gar nicht was man alles findet, wenn man den Begriff in die nächstbeste Suchmaschine wirft). Wir hoffen ihr seid jetzt glücklich 😓.

@ZonenRanslite@feddit.org Tatsächlich haben wir gar kein aktuelles Rackfoto... das hat man davon, wenn die Infra so stabil ist, dass man nie in das RZ fahren muss.😬
Falls wir demnächst nochmal in der Nähe sind schicken wir eins durch, aber können nichts versprechen. 🤞
Ich habe noch nie in meinem Leben Kaltstrom-Kabelweichen gesehen. Warum gibt es sowas?
Weniger Steckdosen, weniger Salat.
Ich hab an meinem Arbeitsplatz eine Weiche mit drei Kaltgerätesteckern (jaja, technisch gesehen sind es KaltgeräteBUCHSEN). Toll um drei Monitore an eine Steckdose zu stecken.
