Pretty sure money is just figures in computers these days anyway.

Plus I haven’t used cash in over 20 years, and if it gets to the point where I need to due to the collapse of civilisation then I’ve got bigger problems than the internet not working. And money will probably be irrelevant.

@Codpiece@feddit.uk Amazing !! So when was the last time you made any transaction in cash ?? I too believe that nobody would have any more cash left to count..... Even Fort Knox is going digital........

But don't you think that yesterday's affair was more like some sort of test drive ???

No, I don’t think it was a test drive. I think it was a human-made issue caused by poor change management and insufficient testing made worse by ever increasingly complicated systems, and overworked, underpaid IT departments.
