It's post-apocalyptic when your municipal utilities are all shut down

Squeezing the poor can continue without an apocalypse. The poor will be fighting robot guards to get to water while the bourgeoisie tut tut at the lazy homeless.

Palestinians are being mass murdered the old fashioned way.

You don't need a apocalypse for a country or billionaire to deploy robots instead of men.
