Great! I've been staying out of beta lately because of how it breaks Decky more than I'm willing to fix it. And this new feature is a nice one to have.

Some useful plugins: the one that lets you customize the theme on your deck, the one that allows you to scrap the covers for your non steam games right in gaming mode UI. Also the one that shows proton DB badges on your games and the other that let you manage your proton version. There is a bunch of other utilities in there for a lot of other use cases.

Fuck yeah, also theme music and the CSS loader is insanely dope (custom CSS layouts for the steam deck, all in little easy to install packages). Don't like the info popped up on the main screen, now its bellow, want more games on the menu? Done. And OLED black for the themes is kick ass.

There's music control for playing songs and controlling them in a ... tab menu basically

OpenGOAL is a decomp of Jak 1&2 and runs through decky to do the building which I thought was cool too

But TabMaster is the shit. Customize and control over tabs, hide, change order, create new ones. Display hidden games from multiple specified collections all in its own brand new tab? Go right ahead and do that

Makes the steamdeck better unlocks its more full potential and who tf knows what else is on there there's a bunch. But it can cause issues and is worth that too

Sorry for hijacking your reply

It’s ok, much happier from learning new plugins :)

TabMaster sounds really cool, I don’t like much the default tabs so might give a try. I’m looking into syncing between Deck and PC for emulation and games that don’t support steam cloud with Syncthing and I think I’m going to need Proton tricks, I think that it’s called so, to help me with the save paths.

Scrape, not scrap. Your version doesn't sound very useful. :D

Oh, you’re right, I still have some difficulty with some words that sound similar to me but mean completely different things, thanks for the heads up!

It's really nice for emudeck integration

Also I recently installed a decky app to allow flatpak updates from deck mode

And yet, even on stable everything, Decky did break with the update thanks to TabMaster regressions :(

[–] SeventySeven@sh.itjust.works 2 points 1 month ago

Same! Mine somehow updated on its own when I was switching between desktop mode and now it completely broke Decky for me. The entire Decky menu is missing for me :( I need to find a way to stop it from updating. It's annoying.

Yeah it's a shame. I want to stay in Beta to get new Steam Input features first but I really don't like the stock Big Picture homescreen without CSS Loader
