See, I know you y'all were separate people. But then y'all got Tuvix'd and now you're just trying to maintain the illusion of the originals so you don't get fully murdered like the original Tuvix.
Tuvox wasn't able to be killed as he was not a real being. He was a glitch. He was an error. Janeway did nothing wrong and I would have Ctrl-Z'd him too.
Honestly, I know that you're point, but I just wanted to point this out. Let's say somebody got brain damage They become a completely different person. after a couple of months a treatment is devised to fix this brain damage. However, the person with brain damage no longer wants this. Is it ethical to listen to them? They are not thinking correctly and cannot make the best decisions for themselves. Do you fix the brain damage or do you let them live with this brain damage? Honestly, the argument is not too dissimilar.
