Well, yes. What do you think campaign donations are?

Rich people don’t like having only one vote. They feel they’re much too important to only have one vote. So they make campaign contributions, direct lining themselves right to the senators and legislators.

That’s what a monetary campaign contribution is.

Democrats accept campaign contributions from the donor class too. Do you really think it makes a difference between D and R, when the donor class finances both?

We get social things that do matter, like abortion, gay marriage, etc, but surveillance, capacity to earn, and lack of accountability for most rich people never changes.
