I don't entirely mean to throw rocks, but there's something funny about them dragging their feet so long on supporting a linux version (8+ years) that by the time their personal breaking point with windows came, they discovered themselves on the other side of the issue with no one to blame but themselves. Maybe a parable.

To be fair to them the whole UI of the program is currently built with a windows-only framework, so a linux port requires a UI rewrite

AND he does this for free, so we aren't entitled to anything.

Also, on another note: Playnite could very well be the first Linux client with RomM support.

Yeah, a jellyfin for ROMs, how cool is that? Client integration is a must though, otherwise what's the point?

Tbh they have been waiting for a framework that would allow them to start the Linux version.
