The community name has been changed, but the c/steamdeck part cannot be changed without creating a new community.

In the previous discussion on whether to include Steam Machine/Steam Frame/Steam OS, the majority of the responses wanted to include the new hardware, at least for the time being.

Part of this decision is that, right now, the fediverse isn't really large enough to support multiple hardware-specific Steam OS communities. However, if the community grows or it becomes apparent that the communities need to be separated, we can do that at a later time.

As always, feedback is encouraged and welcome.

Cool, makes sense to me.
I'm a little worried about the Frame since VR (and especially the whole x86 to ARM) might be too big a difference to this comm, but IMO it's fine to cross that bridge when we get there.
Maybe the Frame gets it's own comm and this stays for the more conventional (?) Hardware like the Deck, Machine and Controller since they're so closely tied together?

Proton was a big difference too. It seem to be really opening doors for more Linux stuff. You should dig into the config this thing can do much and the did the same for arm Linux. They reduced the work by conbining the part. I wonder if big company would pay a service to get steam-os with hardware customizations to ship with their handheld
