Just looking at !news@lemmy.world and I noticed none of the recent posts have any comments, but when viewed from that instance there are many comments and votes.

I just got a notification on one of my posts from a LW user. It only appeared in my inbox about 22 hours after the comment was made.

edit: and another appeared, 21 hours after it was made.
