My son flatout said they are gentrified AI, why they send a DHL worker instead of a doctor to talk with her at the hospital. Or have a TGIF girl flying a plane. Like talking to an AI bot. Also why they don't listen when she says stop remembering her girlfriend. They have erased that information to be efficient.

I imagine getting an AI model for forget something like copyrighted material is near impossible. That’s what it reminded me of.

I get the analogy. I am not sure it's intentional, we consume stories through the lens of our present time, so it's reasonable to get to that analogy and useful to debate it, but this story was conceived way before the current vibe of using genAI was a thing at all, much less mainstream.

Why "gentrified" though?
