Don't worry, the only one really hurt is the climate, but I'm sure it can take a few more gigatonnes of CO2 every day, no biggie; surely the amazon rainforest will absorb it - it is the world's carbon sink, after all.
Applying "kinetic sanctions" to Russian oil exports will wean the world off oil and save CO2 in the long run.
In totally unrelated news, here in Germany - after the political clusterfuck of the last years about heat pumps has silenced - in 2025 heat pumps more and more become home owners heating system of choice.
And I don't worry about blowing these depots up to drive back the aggressor in a war in an manner of ecology, I do worry about fossils still being one of our main energy sources.
Well, the oil that was there was bound to be burnt, it just did so much faster. And now there's one less oil processing plant so the production will be reduced. Net positive for the environment?
