News, highlights and more relating to this great province!
Meh. You're really pushing the green angle in your rampant posting these days Sunshine. I've noted before that you post an absurd amount, so much that it likely skews trends on a bunch of these lemmy communities, and that it seems like you have a pretty clear bias (or even are a paid promoter / marketer?). I'm still curious about that, and whether you're actually a paid promoter of specific content.
As for the article, it's a fairly bland intro puff piece for their new leader. Some bits that come through though are that it seems the party is still going to be entrenched in demographic politics to appease various niche minority interests, that the green party is happily embracing the authoritarian trend in politics too, and that she feels comfortable throwing mud about issues, without offering solutions. Still early days for the new leader, but I'm not overly confident in the approach so far.
** Just an edit to note that sunshine seems to've blocked me for questioning whether she was a paid promoter.
Get out with your unfounded accusations really rich coming from a transphobe listening to propaganda stemming from millions of dollars being spent to attack a vulnerable minority. Banning trans people from sports is about hatred and exclusion not that is nonsensical premise about “fairness”

I’m a “paid promoter” just for having an opinion and being an active poster. Everyone is in this world is biased. I’m not going to stop being a leftist because you personally don’t like it. This province has 13 political parties not just 2 who get all the spotlight.
Where? Because she disagrees with the provincial government’ sabre rattling. It was the NDP who sabotaged proportional representation by putting a up a sham of a referendum and for lying about passing it without a referendum in their 2017 campaign.
The greens got us contribution limits, they show their members how their contributions are being spent in the party, support proportional representation and have criticized the government for putting up a paywall for information requests.
