Regarding this article: yeah... we're fucked. Technology isn't going to magically save us, and DAC can't scale anywhere close to what we need. It's still worth reducing carbon/methane emissions as much as possible since every little 0.1 deg C makes it that much worse, so to any doomers (and API/Exxon astroturf bots) we still need to take action to remove Big Oil as an industry.
