Does a Kodi addon for YouTube exits, that doesn't need an API key? I don't want to create a google account. So is there an addon for Kodi that uses either yt-dlp or NewPipe Extractor to work?

Free tube works even better than NewPipe! So it's definitely possible. Free tube also requires constant tweaking and updating by the developers to continue winning the arms race. So while it's totally possible, it requires manpower.
