- Vote based on comment quality, not agreement. This community aims to foster discussion; please reward people for putting effort into articulating their viewpoint, even if you disagree with it.
- No hate speech, slurs, celebrating death, advocating violence, or abusive language. This will result in a ban. Usernames containing racist, or inappropriate slurs will be banned without warning
We ask that the users report any comment or post that violate the rules, to use critical thinking when reading, posting or commenting. Users that post off-topic spam, advocate violence, have multiple comments or posts removed, weaponize reports or violate the code of conduct will be banned.
All posts and comments will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. This means that some content that violates the rules may be allowed, while other content that does not violate the rules may be removed. The moderators retain the right to remove any content and ban users.

The Republicans were going to budge and the ball was in the Republican's side of the court, the answer was however long it took.
This isn't hard to grasp what happened here, it is just so cynical and pathetic we are all searching for less heartbreaking reasons so we can still believe in leaders that are actively sabotaging our future and present.
Premiums would still go up, though.
Do you not understand how politics works? This was an existential moment to fight and Democrats blew it. This is going to go into history books to describe how the US collapsed so quickly because of zero institutional breaks slowing the process down.
Agreed, Dems killed election night and then they shoot themselves in the foot on purpose.
They had a chance to thoroughly embarrass Republicans especially with air travel shutting down during holidays. They were winning this fight and they threw it
They should all be primaried. Not giving a fucking dime to the DNC this year. Only supporting candidates who won't do billionaires bidding
