- [Meme]One of my oldest (emulation) dream was made today: I completed TOSEC for the first time. Back in the day (about 20 years) I saw TOSEC like something impossible to achieve because the size, so I only collected GoodTools sets from DCC fservers. Now I will go for No-Intro, or maybe TOSEC-PIX.

Are there any rom hoarders in here? What sets are you hoarding? What tools do you use?
No-Intro should be pretty easy, there's significant chunks of the NTSC rom sets up on archive.org
I don't hoard like I used to, especially as I got into romhacks, but RomVault always seemed to be the way to go.
Now that I don't just keep full sets sitting around, I usually just pop onto archive.org and grab whatever I need from the nointro sets there. For disc based games, there's some redump collections on archive, but for most disc based past PS1 or Gamecube I have to check the piracy megathreads for whatever sites haven't been taken down yet.
Yes, I used archive a lot. I had to download a lot of dats one by one because the torrent is almost dead: only one incomplete and very slow seed. For dats missing only a couple of roms I used https://myrient.erista.me/
I think that right now I do not have storage for Redump, but it is something that at some point I will go for.
